Aurangabad, Jan 20: Budding Bharatnatyam dancer Manali Sudhalkar, disciple of dance Guru V Soumyashri, will present Arangetram here at Tapadiya Natya Mandir on January 23 at 2.30.
Arangetram is the first solo performance after seven years of rigorous training and the guidance of Guru. It is a special occasion for disciple and Guru. Manali said she learned lessons of Bharatnatyam from V Soumyashri Pawar and Rajyalaxmi Seth. Childhood hobby later converted into passion and Sadhana. Hobby can become career for every artist, she mentioned.
Dancer and principal of Nalanda Dance and Drama College, Mumbai Dr Uma Rele will inaugurate Manali’s Arangetram. Head of the department of dramatics and dance, Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University Dr Jayant Shewtekar, MP B B Patil, former MP Chandrakant Khaire and former MLA Ishwarrao Bhosikar will grace the occasion, said Manali's parents Mahesh and Sharmila Sudhalkar.
