Aurangabad, Dec 14:

The Mahakeshar Amba Bagayatdar Sangh has decided to organize the ‘Mango Festival’ between May 1 and 15. The decision was taken after the discussion with the horticulture minister Sandeepan Bhumre and marketing managing director in a meeting. Issues of mango crop insurance and export policies were discussed during the meeting held at the farm of director of Sangh, Nandlal Kale at Wadwali on December 11. Vice president Dr Bhagwan Kapse, director Shaikh Rasul informed about the segregation and nurturing. Similarly, information about the dragon fruit farm adjoin the venue was also given. In all, seven resolutions were passed in the meeting chaired by president Sushil Baldava.

Trimbak Pathrikar, Pandit Lonare, Shivaji Ugale, Ramesh Ahirrao, Ashok Suryawanshi, Prakash Kapse and others were present.

A logo of the Bagayatdar Sangh was drafted, distribution system, blossom security, crop insurance, persuasion to government and other resolutions were passed, informed Baldava.
