Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Maratha reservation agitation leader Manoj Jarange Patil was hospitalised on Monday after his condition deteriorated.

His blood pressure dropped and he felt dizziness twice recently. So, he was immediately admitted to a private hospital in the city from Antarvali Sarati (Jalna) today.

It may be noted that due to hunger strikes and constant tours and meetings, the health of Maratha reservation movement leader Manoj Jarange Patil has been deteriorating continuously throughout the year. He was admitted to a private hospital for treatment for about 10 days last month alone.

He had been feeling weak for the past two days. But, he ignored it. Members of Maratha community from various places went to Antarwali Sarati to meet him on Monday morning.

When Suresh Wakade Patil from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar also went to meet him, Jarange Patil felt dizzy in front of him. His blood pressure also dropped.

After this, his friends decided to shift him to a private hospital in the city from Anatarvali Sarati.

He was admitted to the hospital at 11 am today. Dr Vinod Chavare examined him. It was then noticed that his blood pressure had dropped and he was suffering from dehydration.

Dr Chavare informed that his blood samples were taken for laboratory testing. His treatment has been started. The doctor said that Jarange Patil was advised to stay in the hospital for five to six days.
