Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: A culturally rich programme was organised at Burhani National Urdu Primary School (BNUPS) to mark the Marathi Language Pride Day. Students from Classes I to VII presented a variety of performances including rhyme songs, thought presentations, moral stories, children’s songs, a special skit on Fatema Sheikh, the first Muslim woman teacher and a close associate of Jyotiba Phule and the Marathi poem ‘Labhale Aamhas Bhagya.’

Chief executive officer of Burhani National Education Society Dr Ansari Abrar, in-charge headmaster Dr Sayyed Wahab ul Haque, chief guest, and headmaster of Burhani National Urdu High School Bohra Mushtaq Ali spoke about the importance of Marathi language. Shaikh Javed was the programme in-charge. Sana Kauser proposed a vote of thanks.
