Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar
The Marathwada Vibhag office-bearers’ meeting of Laghu Udyog Bharati was held recently at M/s Clad Metal India Pvt Ltd in Waluj MIDC, with participation from Sambhajinagar, Jalna, Latur and Dharashiv Ikai. The Vibhag administration functions from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.
The programme began with garlanding of Bharat Mata and Lord Vishwakarma portraits by national vice president Ravindra Vaidya, state vice president Ashok Kale and Marathwada president Pruthviraj Shah. Nikhil Tapadia (Nashik Ikai) and Yogesh Kulkarni (Global Finance Professionals, Kolhapur) were keynote speakers. Secretary Avinash Deshpande delivered the introductory address. Annual work reports for 2025–26 were presented by representatives of respective Ikai. Based on evaluation by a four-member committee, awards were conferred in three categories. Jalna won ‘Best Ikai’, Dharashiv secured second place; Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar won ‘Best Ikai–Membership Growth’; and Dharashiv bagged ‘Best Program’. New Ikai were announced in Ambad, Sillod, Bhokardan and Terkheda, with appointment letters distributed. Guidance on strengthening Ikai functioning and awareness of Central and State government schemes for MSMEs was provided. The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks by Pruthviraj Shah.
