Vegetable vendors at Bajajnagar Mohatadevi Market resumed operations on Sunday after police intervention ended harassment and extortion by miscreants.

On Saturday, frustrated by repeated vandalism and extortion, vendors shut their stalls, causing inconvenience to residents, especially workers from the Waluj industrial area who rely on the market for fresh vegetables. With the police stepping in, the market reopened smoothly on Sunday, restoring normalcy and easing public inconvenience.
