A 38-year-old married woman from Bajajnagar was allegedly assaulted repeatedly for over two months by an acquaintance who threatened to kill her husband. A case was registered on Wednesday at MIDC Waluj Police Station.

According to the complaint, the woman came into contact with Amol alias Laxmikant Jogwadkar, a resident of Alok nagar, Satara area, in November 2025. He obtained her mobile number and began calling her. On December 14, 2025, around 3 pm, he allegedly visited her house in her husband’s absence, entered on the pretext of nearby work, shut the door, threatened to kill her husband if she raised an alarm, and assaulted her.
