Aurangabad, Dec 30:

A 22 years old married woman committed suicide by hanging herself at Bajajnagar on Tuesday night. due to the constant torture by her husband over her character. The deceased has been identified as Sana Burhanoddin Shaikh.

According to the details, Sana Sikandar Nadaf (Mugali, Akkalkot, Solapur) was married to Burhanoddin Dastagir Shaikh (Laxmi Temple Jabga, District Gulbarga, Karnataka) on July 7, 2019. After some days of the marriage, the couple came to Bajajnagar in Waluj area. However, Burhanoddin always used to take suspicion over her character and inflicted mental and physical torture to her. He also demanded her to bring money from her parents. On December 25, Sana called her father and told her that her husband always beat her as she is not bring money from her parents.

Fed up of constant torture, Sana hanged herself on Tuesday at around 9 pm. She was rushed to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH). Her relatives suspected that she has not committed suicide but was murdered. A case has been registered at th Waluj MIDC police while PSI Priti Phad is further investigating the case.
