Aurangabad, Dec 19:

Corona vaccine does not mean that we are 100 per cent safe. Use of masks is mandatory until the Covid-19 ends. Therefore, even after vaccination, the use of masks and social distancing will have to be followed, said surveillance officer of the World Health Organization, Dr Mujib Syed here today.

Corona vaccination is expected to start soon. Against this backdrop, the municipal corporation had organized a training on covid vaccination for health workers at the Dyotan Hall of MGM hospital on Saturday. Speaking further, Dr Syed said, no vaccine is currently approved. Therefore, the dosage of the vaccine will be known only after it is approved. Only those who register will be vaccinated. Unregistered people will not be admitted to the vaccination center. The vaccination process will be carried out as per the list of employees as per the given time. Municipal health officer Dr Nita Padalkar, Dr Archana Rane, Dr Smita Nalgirkar, Dr Pallavi Sakhare, Dr Megha Jogdand, Dr Ujwala Bhamre, Dr Jagannath Dixit and others were present.

Some may refuse the vaccine

Dr Mujib Syed said "Every time there are two classes, those who refuse the vaccine and those who ask for the vaccine themselves. Some say we don''t need to be vaccinated. While some people are reluctant to get the vaccine. There is no denying the possibility that politicians from the concerned area will come and demand to give vaccines. But the vaccination will be done according to the set rules, he said.
