Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: R J International School organised Matru-Pitru Pujan Divas (Parents Worship Day) on February 14 with an aim to cultivate Indian cultural values among the students.
The parents were invited on the school campus and worshipped by their children
with flowers, vermilion amid chanting of prayers. The programme began with Sarswati Pujan to mark the Basant Panchami. A very heart-touching song was performed by the students which brought tears to eyes of every parent. Parents expressed their wishes with heartfelt emotions. The joy board, traditional welcoming of parents and the Feedback Board were the main attractions. School secretary Parmeshwar Solunke, principal Shilpa Pathak, vice-principal Gajanan Joshi, coordinator Pallavi Lakade and all the teachers were present.
