Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: The meeting of the Management Council of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (Bamu) was adjourned on Wednesday after paying tribute to the Deputy Chief Minister of the State, Ajit Pawar.

The meeting was scheduled to be held at 11 AM today under the chairmanship of the Vice-Chancellor, Dr Vijay Fulari.

However, shortly before the meeting, the sad news of the death of the Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, in a plane crash, was received.

On the instructions of the VC, Registrar Dr Prashant Amrutkar, on behalf of the university administration, presented a condolence resolution.

All the members present paid tribute to Ajit Pawar. Eighteen members, including the Pro-VC Dr Walmik Sarwade, were present on the occasion.
