Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: A migrant worker lost his life after getting trapped in a fodder cutting (kutti) machine at Pal village in Phulambri tehsil of the district on Wednesday afternoon.

The deceased has been identified as Roopsingh Chiranjivlal Tushar (32, Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh). Maize fodder cutting work was underway at the farm of Rameshwar Tupe in Pal village. While operating the machine, Roopsingh's hand suddenly got caught in it. The machine pulled his entire body in, causing severe head injuries and resulting in his death on the spot.

The deceased had been living here for the past one year along with his wife and two children, and came in search of labour work. A case of accidental death has been registered at Phulambri Police Station. Further investigation is being carried out by Constable Anil Shinde.
