Aurangabad, Jan 16:

Industries and district guardian minister Subhash Desai said that the campaign started by Shiv Sena chief Balasaheb Thackeray, helped many Marathi youths to become industrialists.

He was speaking at a programme organised on Saturday to distribute Shiv Bhelpuri handcart to Marathi youths from Naralibaugh. Shiv Sena (women’s cell) city convener Prajakta Rajput took the initiative for the distribution of handcart to the five Marathi youths.

The minister also inaugurated development works of Rs 48 lakh and dedicated cement roads, constructed at the cost of Rs 23 lakh, to public.

Sena district chief MLC Ambadas Danve, MLA Pradeep Jaiswal, Bandu Oak, Balasaheb Thorat, Gopal Kulkarni, Rishikesh Jaiswal and Sunita Dev were present. Subhash Desai said that Marathi youth should try to business and industries than remaining unemployed.

“Youths should do business than running after a job as this will make many families prosper.

Sena chief undertook a drive to divert Marathi ‘Manus’ towards industries, business from jobs. The campaign launched in Mumbai. ‘Vada Pav’ of Sena became very popular,” he said.

Desai said that today, many of them from the business, have started their big hotels and restaurants. “Dhirubhai Ambani, Laxmanrao Kirloskar and Vithal Kamat started their career from the small industry. Today, their industries are known the world over,” he added. Earlier, Prajakta Rajput and Vishwanath Rajput welcomed the minister.
