Aurangabad, Feb 13:

The state urban development (UD) minister Eknath Shinde today held a meeting on the implementation of the Unified Development Control Rules (U-DCR) at the Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) headquarter, today morning.

The municipal commissioner Astik Kumar Pandey made an introductory speech and through presentation apprised the minister about the development works undertaken by the AMC in various parts of the city. The minister applauded the leadership of the civic chief after reviewing the works. Shinde urged the public representatives and the administration to work unitedly for the development of the city.

The assistant director (town planning), Jayant Kharwadkar, gave a presentation on the implementation of U-DCR in the urban limit. The public representatives present on occasion made a few suggestions. The minister told to consider the suggestions on priority.

The EGS minister Sandeepan Bhumre, minister of state for revenue Abdul Sattar, former legislative speaker Haribhau Bagade, principal secretary Mahesh Pathak, district collector Sunil Chavan, former MP Chandrakant Khaire, MLAs Pradeep Jaiswal, Sanjay Shirsaat, Udaysingh Rajput, MLC Ambadas Danve, former MLA Kalyan Kale, former AMC office-bearers including Nandkumar Ghodele, Rajendra Janjal, Jaishree Kulkarni, Raju Vaidya, Makrand Kulkarni, Bhausaheb Jagtap, Gangadhar Dhage and key officers of AMC and Smart City Mission were present on occasion.
