The state government has appointed Minu P.M as Chief Executive Officer of the Zilla Parishad, replacing Ankit, who has been transferred as Additional Commissioner to the Nagpur Municipal Corporation.
Ankit had taken charge on March 18, 2025, and recently completed one year in office. Minu P.M., known for her disciplined functioning, hails from Kerala and secured All India Rank 150 in the 2020 UPSC examination. After her father’s demise, she began working as a clerk in the police department and, following six years of self-study while managing family responsibilities, cleared the UPSC with support from her husband, an ISRO official. Allotted the Maharashtra cadre, she served as assistant district collector in Amravati and later as ZP CEO in Gondia and Jalna. She now assumes charge in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.
