A miscreant set fire to two motorcycles parked outside a house in Sainagar, Cidcio, Waluj Industrial area 1, around 2 am on Friday, triggering panic in the area.
The flames damaged a window, shattering the glass. Residents Sanjay Marjawade and Prashant Bansode woke up to a loud explosion at 2.15 am. Rushing outside, they found their bikes in flames. Neighbors, alerted by the fire, tried to help, but the vehicles a bike (MH-20-GH-7690) and a scooter (MH-20-FW-7854) were completely destroyed. MIDC Waluj police inspected the scene and have launched an investigation.
