Aurangabad, Jan 3:

An old man missing from Sanjaynagar, Mukundwadi was found dead under the bridge at Chikalthana Bhaji Market on Sunday morning. The deceased has been identified as Dashrath Bhagaji Dehade (85, Sanjaynagar, Mukundwadi).

Dehade had gone out of home on December 17 to meet his son staying at Chikalthana area and did not return since then. His family members searched him everywhere but could not find him. A case was registered at the Mukundwadi police station in this regard. On January 3, his body was found under the bridge at Chikalthana. Cidco MIDC police station PI, Vitthal Pote, PSI Kailas Annaldas and others rushed to the spot. The police took out the body from the silt of the nullaha under the bridge with the help of the residents. The police opined that Dehade must have gone under the bridge to answer a call of nature and struck into the silt. The body was handed over to the relatives after post mortem in the evening. PSI Kailas Annaldas is further investigating the case.
