Aurangabad, Feb 26: Dr Ashok Rodge, Principal, MIT College of Food Technology, Aurangabad has been honoured with Lifetime Achievement Award in appreciation of his contribution in the field of characterization, value addition and application of natural gums in food items, during the National Web-Symposium on Recent Advances in Beneficial Insects, Natural Resins and Gums jointly organised by the Society for Advancement of Natural Resins and Gums (SANRAG)) and ICAR-Indian Institute of Natural Resins and Gums (IINRG), Ranchi, on February 25 and 26. Director General, ICAR, New Delhi Trilochan Mahapatra was present.

During his career of more than three decades, Dr Rodge has won several awards including US International George F Steward Award, Chicago; President Honor Roll from AOCS and Best Teacher Award-2013 by ICAR, New Delhi. MIT Director General, MIT Munish Sharma, and all staffs congratulated Dr Rodge.
