Aurangabad, June 27:

A mob of 10 persons thrashed the family members of a trader and threatened them with a knife to kill over a monetary dispute at Renukanagar in the Garkheda area on Saturday at around 9.30 pm. Trader Prakash Ramdhan Rathod (44, Renukanagar, Garkheda) is severely injured in the fight while a case has registered at the Pundliknagar police station in this area. On Saturday night, Sandeep Rathod, Maruti Rathod, and around seven to eight other persons came to the house of Prakash Rathod, when he was at home with his wife and daughter. The mob dragged and started beating him over a monetary dispute. His wife and daughter tried to intervene, but the attackers also beat both of them. Later, Prakash lodged a complaint at the Pundliknagar police station while API Ghansham Sonawane is further investigating the case.
