Around 10 inebriated men allegedly vandalised Mumbai Chinese Grill at Shahanagar on the Beed Bypass between 11.30 pm and 1 am on February 26 after being denied food at closing time.

Hotel owner Yakub Khan, a native of Uttar Pradesh residing at Beed Bypass, stated in his complaint that the group abused and assaulted staff before storming the premises. The accused allegedly used sticks, glass bottles, stones and other weapons to damage two refrigerators, the cash counter, cooking utensils, spice containers and CCTV cameras. An employee, Pradeep, was injured after being struck by a thrown glass bottle. Those named in the FIR include Bhavar Sakhare, Mohit Agale, Shera Pawar alias Sharad Vinayak Pawar, Sachin Jadhav, Ajay, Kiran, Prashant Kolge and three to four others. A case has been registered at the Satara police station, and police sub-inspector Dilip Bachate is conducting further investigation.
