Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

Panic briefly gripped passengers at the railway station on Friday evening after information spread about terrorists entering the premises. For a short while, an atmosphere of fear prevailed among commuters. However, it soon became clear that it was not a real attack but a mock drill conducted by security agencies, bringing relief to all.

In view of Republic Day and as part of security preparedness, a simulated terrorist attack scenario was created at Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar railway station on Friday evening. The mock drill was carried out with coordinated participation of the railway protection force, government railway police, and city police.
