A woman standing outside her house was subjected to objectionable remarks by a group of men. When her family questioned them, the accused allegedly assaulted the young man, his mother and his fiancée, and also threatened to throw acid on the woman’s face. A case was registered at Chhavani police station on April 20 in connection with the incident that occurred in Mitmita on April 19.

An offence has been registered against Shubham Suradkar, Shubhedra Suradkar (residents of Shivshankar Colony), Manthan Hivarale (resident of Shivajinagar), and another woman.
