Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: The 29th roza of the holy month of Ramzan was completed on Thursday, with the moon not sighted anywhere in the city or surrounding areas. The Imarat-e-Sharia Marathwada and Hilal Committee announced that the moon will be sighted on Friday evening, and Eid will be celebrated on Saturday.
With Friday marking the 30th roza, the faithful are now eagerly awaiting Eid. Enthusiasm among the Muslim community is running high this year. Markets saw large crowds late into the night, with women, young girls, and children thronging the bazaar for festive shopping. The old city market areas were packed with customers.
