Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar
A motorcycle-riding worker returning home after completing his shift at a company died after crashing from behind into a container parked on the roadside. The seriously injured youth died during treatment late on Sunday night. The accident occurred around 9 pm on Sunday at Satana Phata on the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar–Jalna highway.
The deceased has been identified as Sajan Bimrot (35), a resident of Nagonichi Wadi in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar tehsil. According to available information, Bimrot worked as a labourer in a company in the MIDC area. After completing his day shift on Sunday, he was returning home at night on his motorcycle (MH-20-DW-5593) via the Jalna highway. Near Satana Phata close to Karmad, he failed to notice a container parked on the road and rammed into it from behind. Bimrot suffered a severe head injury in the accident and fell unconscious. After receiving information about the incident, his relatives rushed to the spot. He was immediately admitted to Government Medical College and Hospital(GMCH) in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar for treatment, but he died late at night during treatment. He is survived by his parents, wife, and daughter. The family has been devastated by the loss of its sole breadwinner, and the incident has cast a pall of gloom over the village. A case has been registered at Karmad police station, and further investigation is being conducted under the guidance of police inspector Samratsing Rajput by police personnel Santosh Chavan and Dadasaheb Dhawale.
