Aurangabad, Dec 30:

A motorcycle rider died after his vehicle collided with bullock cart near Mukteshwar Sugar Factory on Dahegaon Bungalow to Shendurwada Road, on Tuesday at 10 pm. The deceased have been identified as Nandu Gorakhnath Mule (35, resident of Jalgaon village in Paithan tehsil).

Police said Nandu was going on his motorcycle, bearing number MH20 AN 8702, from Dahegaon Bungalow to Shendurwada. While passing through the road ahead of the sugar factory, the motorcycle collided with the bullock cart laden with sugarcane crop, and Nandu sustained grave injuries. He was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), but he died on the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday at 3 am while undergoing treatment.

Meanwhile, Waluj police station has registered an offence in this regard, and further investigation is on by police.
