Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Ahilyanagar MP Nilesh Lanke reached Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar airport at around 4.30 pm on Saturday to go to Goa. However, he was told that the plane had taken off.

Expressing his anger as the plane left despite reaching the airport on time, MP Lanke rebuked the IndiGo officials and employees.

According to information received from airport sources, MP Lanke arrived at the airport at around 4.30 pm to catch the scheduled plane to Goa. However, he came to know that the plane had departed. The MP expressed his strong displeasure as he missed the journey despite being present at the airport.

Will raise issue in session

I reached Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Airport at 4.30 pm to leave for Goa for the fort conservation and sanitation campaign to be held at Sindhudurg on Sunday. However, the plane left early. I spoke to the IndiGo manager. He said that the plane was 'full' at that time. However, this is wrong. Planes get delayed. Then the money is not refunded. In such a situation, leaving the plane early is also wrong. I will raise this issue in the ensuing Assembly session.
