Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Manikchand Pahade Law College will organise the 19th State Level Inter-College Debate Competition ‘The Fourth Pillar of Democracy has Abandoned its Duty’ at Tapadia Natya Mandir, on February 21.

Justice Siddheshwar Thombre (Judge, Bombay High Court, Aurangabad Bench) will inaugurate the competition at 9 am. Vice President of Marathwada Legal and General Education Society (MLGES) and senior lawyer Rajendra Deshmukh presided over the inaugural ceremony.

A total of 30 teams from various colleges in Maharashtra have registered for the competition.

Mayor Sameer Rajurkar will be the chief guest, while Aparajita Agnihotri (Assistant Superintendent of Police) has been invited as the special guest. MLGES president adv. Dr Kalpalata Patil Bharaswadkar will preside over the prize distribution programme.

Incharge Principal Dr A N Kottapalle, Abhay Jadhav, Dr Dinesh Kolte, student representative- Sakshi Bagul and Prathamesh Giri are working hard.
