MPCC chief urge activists to gear up; work for people
Aurangabad, Dec 31:
MPCC chief and revenue minister Balasaheb Thorat said, " The public is with Congress. Hence start working for them with passion and also stand by them during their problems." Thorat was addressing the party''s meet organised for activists at Gandhi Bhavan today afternoon.
Thorat patiently heard the emotions of activists since morning. The recent elections held in Maharashtra has clarified the misconception that Congress is no more. The party has secured a good position everywhere. Hence, set aside the differences and do not encourage groups, he appealed.
District Congress president Kalyan Kale, president of Maharashtra Pradesh Seva Dal Vilas Bapu Autade, City Congress president Hisham Osmani and former MLC M M Shaikh spoke on occasion. The party observer Mujahed Khan conducted the proceedings. Gandhi Bhavan witnessed a huge rush of party activists and workers. Meanwhile, the women representatives (from the state or the local level) were not given a chance to express their views.
Dadasaheb Munde, Namdeo Pawar, Saroj Maslage, Sunita Nimbalkar, Seema Thorat, Ashok Sayanna Yadav and office-bearers and former presidents of party''s various cells were present on the dais.
