An MSEDCL employee was allegedly threatened and abused after disconnecting electricity due to unpaid dues. The connection, registered under Bilkisbi Shaikh Rafiq of Patel National Colony, Naregaon, had an outstanding bill of Rs 13,000. Despite multiple reminders, the amount remained unpaid. Assistant electrician Imran Shaikh cut the supply on Thrusday at 12.30 pm. Shortly after, Wasim Rafiq Shaikh and Taufiq Rafiq Shaikh confronted him, verbally abusing and threatening physical assault. Following Shaikh’s complaint, MIDC Cidco police registered a case against the accused.
