To recognize the efforts of technicians ensuring uninterrupted power supply, the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar zone of MSEDCL celebrated lineman day with various activities on Tuesday. The event included a rally and a felicitation ceremony for outstanding linemen.

A Lineman Recognition Rally was taken out from the MSEDCL zone office to Tapadia Natya Mandir in the morning, where employees carried placards highlighting the role of linemen and company schemes. The main event at Tapadia Natya Mandir was presided over by joint managing director Rahul Gupta, with chief engineer Pawankumar Kachhot as the chief guest. Several senior officials, including superintendent engineer Manish Thackeray and I/C Joint CIRO Kishori Talele were present. JMD Gupta assured technicians that their concerns would be addressed, while Chief Engineer Kachhot appreciated their dedication, urging them to continue their excellent service. Selected linemen were felicitated with certificates, and an electrical safety oath was administered by Venkatesh Pensalwar. The program was moderated by managers Sanjay Khade and Bapu Shinde with Dnyaneshwar Ardhad delivering the vote of thanks.
