Union MSME secretary S.C.L. Das held an interaction with entrepreneurs at the Waluj office of the Marathwada Association of Small Scale Industries and Agriculture (Massia) on Tuesday. Additional development commissioner R.K. Rai and assistant director Abhay Daptardar were also present.
Massia president Arjun Gaikwad presented the association’s work, while entrepreneurs raised issues including infrastructure development, need for an exhibition centre, central skill development facility, R&D support and hostel facilities for trainees. Das appreciated Massia’s role and said the Centre is working to strengthen MSMEs through various schemes. He urged entrepreneurs to avail benefits and assured that their demands would be considered. Officials from MIDC, DIC, NSIC, SIDBI and other industry bodies, along with office-bearers including vice-president Manish Agrawal, attended the meeting.
