Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

Due to the summer vacation rush, the number of passengers travelling towards Mumbai has increased significantly, resulting in waiting lists for most trains, except the Vande Bharat Express. Considering the surge, Central Railway has decided to run a weekly special train between Mumbai (CSMT) and Hyderabad. Additionally, one extra coach will be temporarily added to the Nandigram Express.

The Mumbai (CSMT)–Hyderabad special train will operate from April 23 to July 9. The train from Mumbai to Hyderabad (01011) will arrive at Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar at 7:40 am on Thursdays and depart at 7:45 am. The return train (01012) from Hyderabad will arrive every Friday at 10:10 am and depart at 10:15 am for Mumbai, reaching Thane at 5:30 pm and Mumbai at 8 pm.

Coach count increased to 19

Central Railway has also decided to add one additional AC 3-tier coach to the Mumbai CSMT–Balharshah–Mumbai CSMT Nandigram Express. With this, the total number of coaches will increase from 18 to 19, and AC 3-tier coaches from two to three. This will provide more reserved berths in the air-conditioned category. The facility will be available from April 15 to May 15, 2026, for trains departing from Mumbai CSMT, and from April 17 to May 17 for trains departing from Balharshah.
