Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

Heavy rains in Mumbai will hit railway passengers for the third consecutive day on Thursday. The Mumbai-bound Vande Bharat Express and Nandigram Express have been cancelled on August 21.

The train schedule was disrupted on Tuesday due to heavy rains in the Mumbai area and waterlogging on the railway tracks. The Devgiri Express, which departs from Mumbai every night at 9.30 pm, ran late at around 2.30 am on Wednesday. Then arrived at Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar with a delay of six hours. The Hingoli-Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Jan Shatabdi Express, which departs from Hingoli, did not run on Wednesday. Many passengers have postponed their travel plans to Mumbai. The Central Railway has also cancelled some trains on August 21. These include Jalna - Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Vande Bharat Express and Balharshah - Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Nandigram Express.
