Aurangabad, Oct 31:

A meeting of Maharashtra Underprivileged Teachers Association (MUPTA) held in Cidco Waluj Mahanagar on Saturday to discuss the problems of teachers and private aided schools.

Prof Sunil Magre presided while BG Gaikwad, Padmakar Kamble, Sana Quadri and Milind Kharat were the chief guests.

Prof Sunil Magre said that the State Government took the decision of giving 20 to 40 per cent grants to a private school after the Association follows up. He noted that former MLCs Vikram Kale and Satish Chavan played an essential role in solving teachers’ problems.

The association decided to host a convention at MASSIA Auditorium, Waluj, on November 12. Earlier, Laxman Hiwale made an introductory speech. Sandeep Kajale proposed a vote of thanks.

Umesh Davkhar, Kumar Biradwade, Radhakrishna Bighot, Avinash Sontakke, Prasad Sontakke and others were present.
