Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Renowned Kannada film actor Chetan Kumar (Ahimsa) will inaugurate the Nagsen Festival, which will be held at Lumbini Udyan in Nagsenvan between March 29 and March 31.

After the inauguration, Delhi-based senior journalist Urmilesh will deliver a lecture on 'Educational Field and Bahujans' and cartoonist Gaurav Sarjerao of the satirical cartoon magazine Marmik will also be present. A classical vocal performance of 'Bhimsmaran' presented by Nitin Gaikwad, while Murlidhar Takwale will perform Bhim songs on the clarinet.

A group of 12 artists from 'Adavi Art, Bengaluru' will perform the 'Parai.' Bezwada Wilson, Ramon Magsaysay Award recipient and national coordinator of the Safai Karmachari Andolan, will speak on 'Manual Scavenging and India's Caste Reality' on March 31. Actor and writer Milind Shinde will preside over the session.

Sachin Nikam, Hemant More, adv Sunil Magare and others are working for the event.
