Aurangabad, April 28:
The rural police have geared up for the strict implementation of 'nakabandi' in the district. The cops are checking each vehicle passing through Aurangabad-Jalgaon Highway for the last couple of days.
It may be noted the jurisdiction of the highway starts from Fardapur. It may be noted that the district collector has made it mandatory to obtain vehicle pass while traveling from one district to another. Hence the police were checking each vehicle entering into the jurisdiction. However, the travelers who were arriving in the city for medical reasons were given relaxation.
The cops, on other hand, also took penal action against the persons wandering on the roads without any reason. The strict checking of vehicles is being done by Fardapur police station's police inspector Pratapsinh Bahure, PSI Yuvaraj Shinde, police personnel M M Mendhe, Nitin Borse, home guard Ganesh Shinkar, and A J Pathan.
