Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: National Geospatial Knowledge-based Land Survey of Urban Habitations (NAKSHA) will be launched at Kannad tehsil on February 18

The Central Government launched NAKSHA as a pilot project under the Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme (DILRMP) for the creation of land records in urban areas in selected cities of the country.

A total of 150 cities were selected across the country. Kannad tehsil was selected for the pilot project in the district.

The inaugural ceremony will be organised at the auditorium of Kannad Municipal Council, at 11 am.

MP Sandeepan Bhumre, MLA Sanjana Jadhav, district collector Deelip Swami, sub-divisional officer Santosh Gorad, Deputy Director of Land Record Kishor Jadhav, its superintendent Dr Vijay Veer and others will grace the event.
