Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

Nath Valley School emerged as the overall champion at the Lokmat Times Campus Club competitions for primary students held on January 17, Saturday at Lokmat Bhavan, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from schools across the city, with students showcasing creativity, confidence and talent.

St Lawrence School secured the second position. Captivating competitions were held throughout the day creating a delightful spectrum of performances.

Lokmat Times Campus Club has been nurturing school students through innovative competitions at the city and state levels. Continuing this tradition, the campus club organised creative competitions for Primary School students this year. The events were divided into two categories, Dexterous kids (offstage) and Wiz kids (onstage).

Dexterous kids competitions (offstage)

Under the dexterous kids category, three offstage competitions were organised, where students created art pieces and presented them before the judges.

Sawdust art – Standards I and II

3D Book decoration – Standards III and IV

Body anatomy – Standard V

The young participants displayed creativity and imagination through their well-prepared artworks.

Wiz kids competitions (onstage)

The wiz kids category featured confident onstage performances by students.

Poetry recitation – Standards I and II

Monuments around the world – Standards III and IV

Live reporting – Standard V

Students impressed the audience with their expressions, knowledge and presentation skills.

After the completion of all events, a prize distribution ceremony was held to honour the winners.

Judges from various fields guided the students, including artist Uddesh Paghal, photographer Kishor Nikam, doctors Swapna Ambekar and Suvarna Gulanikar, yuva sahitya academy awardee poet Ravi Korde, poetess and writer Ambika Dutta, architect Maya Vaidya, professor Hemant Rawate, and lokmat times chief reporters Rafique Aziz and Mehboob Inamdar.

Students showed great enthusiasm in every competition. The atmosphere was filled with joy and excitement as participants cheered for each other. All performances were well prepared and confidently presented, making the event lively and memorable.
