Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: The History Department of Deogiri College and the History Department of Pratishthan College (Paithan) jointly organised a one-day national seminar on the Life and Work of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, recently.

In the first session of this seminar, historian Dr Shrimant Kokate presented his thoughts on ‘Defender of Independence Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj.’

Deogiri College Principal Dr Ashok Tejankar expressed his thoughts on the life and work of Sambhaji Maharaj. Dr Mahesh Rote gave an introduction to the seminar.

The head of the History Department at Pratishthan College Dr. Rajesh Karpe introduced the chief guests. Dr Subhash Suryavanshi conducted the proceedings of the programme while Dr Suvarna Patil proposed a vote of thanks.
