Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: National Cadet Corps (NCC) Group Headquarters, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar has been honoured with the prestigious Chief Minister’s (CM) Banner and Trophy for being adjudged the Best Group Headquarters for the year, in recognition of its exceptional performance, discipline, training excellence.

The CM Banner is a prestige bestowed to best NCC Group in the state and reflects sustained excellence in training standards, administrative efficiency, social service activities, national integration programmes, and discipline among cadets. The achievement stands as a testament to the dedication, hard work, and leadership displayed by the officers, permanent instructional staff, associate NCC officers and cadets of the Group.

Under the dynamic leadership of Brig Anup Barbare, Group Commander NCC Group Headquarters Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, the Group has consistently excelled in Republic Day camp selections, annual training camps, community outreach programmes, Swachh Bharat activities, disaster relief assistance, blood donation drives, and patriotic initiatives.

Maj Gen Vivek Tyagi, ADG Maharashtra Directorate NCC lauded the collective effort of all units under the Group Headquarters and emphasized that this recognition will further motivate the organization to achieve higher standards of excellence in the future. The award also brings pride to the region and reinforces the vital role of NCC in shaping responsible and disciplined citizens.
