Aurangabad, May 17:

The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) staged demonstrations

against the price hike of petro, diesel and chemical fertilizer at Kranti Chowk

on Monday afternoon. The agitators shouted slogans against the union government

and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

NCP city president Vijay Salve, executive president Abhishek

Deshmukh led the agitators. District vice president Sonu Pawar, Mirza Hamid

Baig, Alimbhai, Ashish Ingle, Faisal Shah, Salman Shaikh, Pratibha Vaidya,

Rafiq Shaikh, Harbak Patil and others participated in the agitation. The Corona

guidelines of social distancing were breached during the agitation.
