Aurangabad, June 17:

National Congress Party (NCP) started preparations for Marathwada Samvad Yatra in the district.

A review meeting of the leaders and activists was held recently. NCP district (women’s wing) observer Rekha Fand was also present for the meeting.

The Yatra which will commence from Osmanabad on June 24, will reach the district under the leadership of NCP State unit president and Water Resources Minister Jayant Patil.

The new office-bearers were also elected for some tehsils, their names are as follows; Mangal Pandit (president of NCP Gangapur Assembly Constituency), Padma Pandav (president of NCP Phulambri Assembly Constituency), Seema Nayak (Gangapur tehsil executive president), Vaishali Choudhary and Smita Tupe Patil (district joint-secretaries). Sarita Pandav (Phulambri) joined NCP youth wing.

NCP district (women’s wing) president Chhaya Jangle Patil and its city unit president Meraj Patel organised this meeting. Veena Khare, Sonali Deshmukh, Salma Bano, Gazal Inamdar, Vaishali Patil, Savita Gaikwad and others present. Vidya More conducted the proceedings while Manjusha Pawar proposed a vote of thanks.
