Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Hundreds of students who came to the city to attempt the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) faced the real ordeal that began with the journey back home after the examination concluded at 5 PM on Sunday.

Massive crowds at the Cidco and Central Bus Stands in the city left students and parents waiting for long periods, struggling to find transportation.

Bus crowds have already swelled due to the summer vacation season. On top of that, following Sunday's NEET paper, a large number of students and parents arrived at the Cidco and Central Bus Stands simultaneously in the evening. Students who had travelled from various districts to appear for the examination rushed to the bus stands for their return journey.

Long queues stretched across the platforms. Many had to wait for hours just to get a bus. As soon as a bus arrived, passengers scrambled to board it, causing further chaos and inconvenience.

Routes heading towards rural areas were under the most pressure. The limited bus service, combined with the sudden surge in passengers, caused significant hardship for students. Even after the exhaustion of appearing for the examination, students were forced to endure the additional stress of a difficult journey home.
