Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

Municipal commissioner Amol Yedge assumed charge on Saturday evening. On Sunday, he began a series of continuous meetings from 12 noon, which went on until 8 pm. As a result, the municipal headquarters remained bustling with the presence of officers and staff throughout the day.

Yedge had instructed all department heads on Saturday evening to come prepared with PPT presentations for Sunday’s meetings. The sudden directive created a rush among several department heads, many of whom stayed in the office until midnight to complete their presentations. The commissioner arrived around noon on Sunday and conducted meetings with various departments.

He reviewed the number of staff in each department, their working methods, ongoing projects, and plans for the coming months. According to sources, he also issued important instructions to some department heads. With the departmental meetings continuing throughout the day, many officials were seen waiting outside for their turn, entering only when called in.

Earlier in the morning, the commissioner paid a courtesy visit to guardian minister Sanjay Shirsat at his residence.
