Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Suman Bery, the Vice Chairperson of NITI Aayog, paid a courtesy visit to the history museum of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University last evening.

He expressed his interest in visiting the history museum to Registrar Dr Prashant Amrutkar. Bery arrived at the university premises on Saturday evening. He was welcomed by Vice-Chancellor Dr Vijay Fulari.

Bery had a detailed discussion with the VC and Registrar regarding the university's academic, research and developmental activities. VC Dr Fulari provided information about the initiatives being implemented by the university.

He then spent about an hour inspecting the university's history museum, appreciating the preserved historical artefacts, documents, and heritage. He expressed satisfaction with the educational and cultural traditions preserved by the university.

Dr Prashant Amritkar, Head of the History Department, Dr Borade, museum expert, Dr Kumar Bhavar, Machhindra Chaudhary and tourist guide Dr Shivaji Gaikwad were present.
