No invitation to public representatives of opposition party for CM meet

Aurangabad, Feb 5:

Public representatives of the BJP and MIM were annoyed over not being invited for the review meeting held in the presence of chief minister Uddhav Thackeray on Friday.

Public representatives including MPs Bhagwat Karad, Imtiyaz Jaleel MLAs Haribhau Bagde, Atul Save and Prashant Bamb were not invited to the meeting. On the other hand, guardian minister Subhash Desai, Horticulture minister Sandipan Bhumre, Minister of state Abdul Sattar, Minister of state for environment Sanjay Bansode, principal advisor to CM Ajoy Mehta, MLC Ambadas Danve, MLAs Sanjay Shirsat, Uday Singh Rajput, sena leaders Ramesh Bornare and former MP Chandrakant Khaire were present. Apart from this, divisional commissioner Sunil Kendrekar, collector Sunil Chavan, municipal commissioner Astik Kumar Pandey, ZP chief executive officer Dr Mangesh Gondawale and others were present. In this regard, MP Jaleel said "I am in Delhi as the Lok Sabha session is underway. But was unaware about the arrival of CM for a review meeting. There was no such invitation." MLA Save said that the ruling parties might have some fear from the BJP." District collector Sunil Chavan said that the meeting was only for officials. The chief minister had similar instructions. There was no point in inviting anyone. The public representatives present at the meeting were not invited. They did not say anything during the meeting. Only the officials made the presentations.
