Aurangabad, Oct 16:

On the backdrop of the Corona outburst, no permission has been granted to organize Garba this year. If anyone organizes Garba ceremony without permission, cases will be registered against the president and the secretary of the Garba mandals, informed commissioner of police, Dr Nikhil Gupta.

The Corona crisis has not yet been over. Hence, the religious places have not been opened for the devotees yet. Ganesh Festival was celebrated following social distancing and other measures with simplicity. People should celebrate the Navratri Festival beginning from Saturday also with simplicity, appealed CP, DCPs, ACPs, PIs to the people during a meeting of the officials of the Mandals. The permission to organize Garba is not granted and hence stern action will be taken against those organizing it without the permission, Informed CP, Dr Gupta.
