Yogesh Sangle (30, Bajajnagar), a known criminal involved in serious offenses under MIDC Waluj police jurisdiction, was taken into custody under the Maharashtra Public Disorder Act (MPDA) and sent to Nagpur Central Jail, following orders from the Police Commissioner.

Sangle had multiple cases registered against him in MIDC Waluj and Harsul police stations, including assault, threats, possession of weapons, and damage to public property. Police records show he had committed several offenses between 2023 and 2026. According to the police, Sangle was creating fear and disorder in the area, and action under MPDA was taken to curb his criminal activities. The police are also reviewing records of other notorious criminals in the city, and further MPDA actions against them are underway.
