Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

Despite strict actions like MPDA, a notorious criminal, along with his gang, attacked his own friend’s house and attempted to kill him. The incident occurred on March 10 at 3 pm in Jaybhavaninagar.

A case has been registered at the Mukundwadi police station against Manoj Padul alias Langda Manya, Ganesh Dhane, Pravin Shinde, Shubham Jat and 7-8 other individuals in connection with the attack. Bobby Zinjurde, son of plotting businessman Navnath Zinjurde, was friends with the accused. However, disputes had arisen between them recently, and the accused had been planning to harm him ever since.

On March 10, upon learning that Bobby was at home, the gang stormed his house and attempted to kill him. Bobby managed to escape, but the gang vandalized his house, destroying household items and damaging vehicles parked outside before fleeing. Notably, Shubham already has serious criminal cases against him and was previously detained under the MPDA Act at Harsul Jail.

It is alleged that some officers at the Mukundwadi police station have close ties with these criminals. Their continued association and deliberate negligence have reportedly emboldened local criminals. The case is currently being investigated by Sub-Inspector Shivaji Ghorpade.
