Aurangabad, Jan 22:

An unidentified old man of around 55 to 60 years of age has been murdered at Bajajnagar by hitting hard on his head. The incident came to fore on Friday morning. The police on receiving the information rushed to the spot.

A watchman saw an old man dead near Padmapani Buddha Vihara in Bajajnagar area on Friday at around 6 am. Some had hit him on his head due to which he died. He immediately informed about it to the Waluj MIDC police. PI Dilip Gangurde and others rushed to the spot. A beggar like old man was lying in a pool of blood and had severe head injuries. It will be clear whether a murder after the post-mortem, the sources said. Waluj MIDC police are further investigating the case.
